Default Rinehart exhaust question

I have a full rinehart exhaust system on my 03. True duals. I've been wanting to get something a bit louder. Bought a set of slip ons and the inlet of the slip ons are too small. Found the pipes are 2" on rinehart. Does anyone make slip ons with the 2" inlet? Or do I need to get a set of stock pipes to run different slip ons?

That's a Rinehart thing. Do they have any baffles or packing in them, if so maybe remove it. Or buy new head pipes and put whatever slip on u want. Cobra makes a relatively cheap dual set

Same thing happened to me on my 16. I just removed / replaced the True Duals altogether as there are better headpipes out there.

decencyxdefied.. They do have baffles but no packing. Not sure which ones tho. Thought about grabbing a set of the high flows and trying them out. Just don't want to spend money and not get what I want.

NCPiper... got any recommendations?

I am not sure what will fit your 03. Sorry. I couldn't find anyone (but Rinehart) that had mufflers to fit the Rinehart Xtreme True Duals I had installed.
So I went with TAB performance headers. There are some great 2-1-2 and 2-2 (with crossovers) that are better optimized than the True Duals.

If you decide to change out those True Duals, you will feel the difference in pep.

Best wishes

If you're still looking... Not sure what your 03 is but Bassini makes a true dual called the Pro Streets that perform better than most exhaust systems out there and has a deep sound. They're definitely loud too if you want loud.
Stepped pipes are pretty much necessary for true duals to perform well. For instance, Bassani also makes the FiresSweeps that look identical to the Pro Streets but no steps and performance couldn't be more different. The FireSweeps suck like most TDs with poor performance. Now low end isn't their strong point but Pro Streets do well and their mid to upper rpm power is better than a lot of 2in1s or 212s.
If you still want the look and sound of true duals in an exhaust that performs, you might want to look into them.
