Default Andrews 54H vs 67H

Im planning to go for a 103 build, Im using the following parts:

1- Ported original heads & cylinders.
2- Wiseco 10.5:1 forged pistons.
3- Cometic 0.30 gasket.
4- SE Super Tuner.
5- SE Air cleaner.
6- V&H Big Shots Staggered Black.
7- Andrews cam.

The corrected compression for 67H cam is 9.6:1
& for 54H is 9.9:1 (using Big Boyz calculator)

Which cam should I go for? I ride solo mostly, & I have no problem getting high octane fuel.

If you have done your homework and you are at 9.6 corrected the 67 's on that bike will be a lot of fun. Pipes might hurt you a little....

I've got the 54's in my 96" and it's plenty stout.
I can light the tire in 2nd and spin it when I hit 3rd if I choose.
Gotta be careful coming out of corners in a low gear.

The 54 or even the 32 but the 67 will be flat on the bottom at 9.6.

What if i increase the compression to 10.2 corrected, would it be better to go for the 67s? is the increase in power worth it?

The 9.6 referenced above is static; corrected would only be about 8.5 and that is why I said the 67 woud be flat on the bottom. The 54 would be better but not by much.

I don't think 10.2 corrected is feasible with the 67; with either cam for that matter. Chamber volume would have to be small or dome pistons used and, in either case, cranking compression is well above 200psi. Are you building this one yourself or do you have a builder?

Im using 5.5 dome pistons, so compression is 9.6 corrected for the 67s & 9.9 corrected for the 54s. cranking compression is about 210psi, but I dont have a problem with that coz 94 octane is available in every fuel pump here.
