Removing Screamin Eagle slip ons cat. converter
I have SE slip ons on my 2010 Streetbob. It's a 50 state legal EPA approved California exhaust slip ons with catalytic converters. Are these cat. converters removable? If so how? I was thinking of taking them out, (because they are too quiet for my taste), and replacing them with some Big City Thunder baffles. I removed a couple of set screws from each but would not come out. Pls help. Thanks.

I just removed the cat converters on my 2014 street bob with the same slipons as yours. The bike is stock apart from the slipons.
once the screws are removed just use a set of vice grips and give it a wiggle, it will come out. Removing the cat its self was an absolute pain in the a@#. I just used drill bits and chisels to chip away at it piece by piece, took about an hour each one. I also drilled the baffle holes 50% bigger than they are stock to try increase flow a bit.
eventually it does all come out.
Sound increased a little bit, but i noticed the bike rrevved a little more free than before, but i only did it to get more sound.
hope that helped.
