cat removal
hey all, im a newbie and a little stumped. ive got a 10 crossbones that has a screamin eagle slip ons. ise like to putt the cats out from them but after removing the torx screws i couldnt pull the inside piece out. anyone ever get that dang cat out? and would it need to be remapped?
It would be easier and cheaper to get a different set of slipon's. Seriously I believe that with the mufflers with the cats insider you have to cut them open to do it right. You can drill them out but even that is a pain to drill out cats. I have not herd of anyone doing this.
i have the original stock slip ons, and this set of screamin eagles so smashing these wont be an issue. i can always put stockers back on when needed for emissions in 3 -5 years, by then i hope to have a set of sharp curves on there no baffle and torque cone!!
