cat removal

Default cat removal

hey all, im a newbie and a little stumped. ive got a 10 crossbones that has a screamin eagle slip ons. ise like to putt the cats out from them but after removing the torx screws i couldnt pull the inside piece out. anyone ever get that dang cat out? and would it need to be remapped?

anyone? ide like to remove these soon, any issues with the computer tuning?

It would be easier and cheaper to get a different set of slipon's. Seriously I believe that with the mufflers with the cats insider you have to cut them open to do it right. You can drill them out but even that is a pain to drill out cats. I have not herd of anyone doing this.

i have the original stock slip ons, and this set of screamin eagles so smashing these wont be an issue. i can always put stockers back on when needed for emissions in 3 -5 years, by then i hope to have a set of sharp curves on there no baffle and torque cone!!
