Help- What to look out for at 100,000km/70,000miles
Im looking at buying a 1999 street glide with 70,000 miles / 100,000km
What should I consider needs to be done or replaced on the motor with this amount of km/miles.
Should I walk away or bring her home.?
Any help or comments
Thanks for your time

Unless you are buying the bike from the original owner and as a "project"; pass. There are too many later models that can be had for a reasonable price. At 70K miles, top end is likely tired, heads need reworking, lots of miles on wheel and steering head bearings, swing arm bushings, motor mounts, drive belt, starter, primary drive chain, clutch, all oil seals, etc.; I could go on. There are some that will tell you 70K is not a lot of miles if the bike has been maintained and I couldn't argue with that. Just saying there are too many later models with 25K to 30K miles that would be better candidates.
