if you are taking off the heads, can't you use the stock push rods? Are the TW-555 to high to use the stock push rods?

You asked for opinions, and I think adding a part that can fail is unnecessary.

If you want what you listed then why ask for opinions?

I was not aware that adjustable pushrods were weaker. I thought they were stronger than stock since chromoly plus added adjust-ability. Thats why I posted this thread lol. To find flaws in my parts list so I can build the strongest 103 I can within reason of course.

adjustable push rods can come loose. no matter how tight you think you got them, there is always that small chance of them loosening up.

fuel moto push rods are made by smith brothers they make quality parts. if there were so many problems with adjustable pushrods no body would use them, if they are install correctly using locktite they should not come loose. and with higher lift cams verses stock its nice to have the ability to adjust more preload on lifters to keep the valve train noise minimal.

Default 103 build

maybe have your current throttle body polished and worked reason is to the best of my knowledge i may be wrong. you need a new manifold for the 58mm TB i think you will also limit your options for air cleaners.

no reason to spend so much on a manifold and throttle body, for the hp increases of just a few HP maxium. the $ to HP raito isnt very good. can have your current throttle body done for around $275, maybe throw in some high flow injectors.

but i would run your build by fuel moto if your buying parts from them, they are real engine builders i think fuel moto may suggest adjustable push rods also. i used adjustable pushrods for 40,000 miles on a 103 with 108 hp 109 tq never had any trouble
