2014 street glide cat removal

With a catless head pipe, your bike will sound a bit louder and run a bit cooler, with no tuning required.
Unless you're capable of doing the job yourself, my suggestion is that you look for a catless header on Ebay. I bought mine for $135/delivered.
I like this option because you keep your original header; you can easily reverse the process if you decide that you don't like the results.

So, I'm getting ready to de-cat by 2014 FLHX and this is what I've found.
First and probably the easiest is to order de-catted head pipes from http://www.wildpigpipes.com/Store1.html
If you staying with the stock 2 out system, A- Wild Pig Head Pipes is the way to go. The parts are "used". And if you send them your OE Pipes, they give you $50 back. Not a bad deal.
With only the cat delete, you do NOT have to re-tune the bike. Just make sure that you label the O2 sensors properly so that you can put them back in the right holes...
If you de-cat and put on after-market slip ons, you will have to retune.

IMHO the rear primary tube is too short. I base this on my experience with a Fuel Moto X pipe (basically a stock headpipe with a X chamber where the CAT was). My builder insisted I go with anything but a headpipe designed around maintaining the stock heat shields.
I will say the FM X-pipe made nice noise cancelling and the wife stayed right on my wing......not so much with the S&S Power Tune Duals.
