the new popup/page for inserting images doesnt work very well

it thinks the url copied from picasaweb/google+ is invalid...

Your right about that...!! I've been trying for the last 30 min. to get pics from my album into a thread...couldn't get it to work at all...!

 

 

The URL needs to be wrapped in IMG tags (not sure if that is the proper term). Example [img]your.image.url.here[/img]

If the insert image button does not work you can type them in by hand, kinda a pain but doesn't take to long.

 

good call, i never thought about typing it in by hand... that'll do til it's fixed!

Yeah I have the same issue with my Picasa web albums. Was working fine the other day.

Heres the URL of a pic Ive used before using the new interface. Someone want to try copying it and using it with the new insert pic function? Dammit, its parsing the link, just click on it then copy the address.
