Default How to remove foot pedal (Rt side)

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to remove the foot pedal or stand on the right side of the bike (along with the rear brake pedal and can't seem to get it to budge.

I am working on a 2005 Sportster 1200R.

I removed a screw from the top of the assembly... and the whole thing turns but doesn't come out.

I need to get to the nuts that secure my exhaust and the rear brake pedal linkage (I guess) is right in the way.

Any suggestions?
Hobbs

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. It may help you to take a look at one of the on-line parts websites, like this one, where you can see an exploded diagram of those parts of your bike. If that doesn't help I can recommend calling into the Sportster section, where you can ask the experts in there.
