Default Street 750

Stopped by the dealer today for hot chocolate while on a cold weather ride on the Freewheeler.

I had wanted a Street to keep my collection having at least one of all the HD families. I did make a previous low ball offer but they didn't listen. The owner was there and I told him the amount that I would offer since it was Black Friday. In the past I had talked to the business manager.

He said my offer was below cost. I smiled and said "You can't expect to make money on every deal". He chuckled and told the sales manager to see what he could do. On the computer he should me the invoice mark up and fees. Then told me what I could have it out the door for. He wrote it up for even better than I had offered. Winter (almost) is a good time to buy a bike. I pick it up Monday.

I have always liked midsize bikes. I even plan to ride it to Sturgis next year. But It will sit until spring before I put on the break in miles.

In the meantime I need to move bikes around to park it by it's big brother the VROD NRS.

I'm really interested to see how you like it. Not that I have any intention of buying one for myself, but I think it would be a great bike for the wife.

Kudos to you for leaving the big touring bikes at home and riding the "beginner" bikes to Sturgis.

Maybe some of the willingness to deal on the 750 is few are buying them.
Other than photos, I have not seen one.

I would like to hear some long term ride reports on these bikes. Keep us informed once spring lets you put some miles on it.
