Default My Crazy Al's Low Pro Dot Helmet review

First off, this is posted for anyone wondering about these helmets. The safety brigade need not reply...as much as it pains you

I received mine last week, and was able to take it on decent ride yesterday and today...60deg! Woot!

Anyways, these DO fit as the pictures show, no mushroom head. Not a novelty, but as good as it could possibly get for a DOT lid. Quick release strap is awesome too. These are also super light, and don't feel like they're gonna rip your head off at highway speed...even today with 20mph headwind

So, if anybody is interested in these, they are what they claim.

I got one last fall, great fit and I am a fan of the quick release. I noticed they don't label them "Crazy Al's" on the back anymore above the DOT label....is yours like that?

a couple buds have them, theirs have the Crazy Al's on the back but mine doesn't. I wonder if the heat wasn't giving grief and not believing they were DOT lids.

I didn't see a listing for the actual weight of the helmets. Did you weigh yours?

Yeah, I didn't actually weigh it, but that sounds about right.

Made in Canada. Identical to the Akoury. Nice helmet. Pricey though for what it is.

Mine arrived today. Very small and looks good. Definitely smaller than my Outlaw T69 T70. It's made in China (no longer has Crazy Al's logo on back) and I'd suspect that its from the same factory that the Akourys are made. Has anyone compared the two side by side?
