six sense ?????

Because it's an extra sense for us. We can't normally see behind us, but with the mirrors, we can. Not a true 6th sense, but an extension of our already available sight.

Because it allows you to "check your six" or see what is behind you without having to turn to look.
Just guessing, because this is the first time I've ever heard of mirrors being called a "sixth sense."

I was initially going "sixed" sense? Shouldn't that be "sixth" sense? But then when you say you use it to check your "six", "sixed" sense fits...although I have never run across this before about mirrors....
