So I bought a 2015 Peace Officer Limited this week. I beat up 5 dealers to get the best deal I could. I kept working them until 4 of them dropped out and I put the deposit down with the last one. Here is the deal I got for a Blue Limited:

So then I told them I was paying cash for the bike and since it was being ordered I was going to take the 6 weeks to pay cash through my credit card (for 2% cash back) and they agreed so with that I end up at 27,900 out the door. What was your best deal on this bike?

 

We buy them to ride them.
I paid $4400 in 1980 for a '79 FLH. It now has 264,000 miles on it. Over the years, I've got about $12000 total in it.
You got screwed.

 

I would have held out for chaps and belt buckle to go with Helmet and tshirt.

I see a lot of people here quote the t-shirt. If I'm dropping approaching $30k on a bike and they are throwing in a $1.25 their cost made in Malaysia t-shirt.................well to me that is REALLY insulting.

 

They must be more expensive out in AZ.

 

Everyone has their price and what it's worth to some is a rip off to others.
As long as you're happy with the deal, that's all that matters.

I was looking a bike the other day and within 15 minutes got the dealer to drop the price to $22,500.

I seriously had to think about it.
However when I got back to the house I realized one of the reasons I love my 09 Heritage; it's paid for!!!

The all started high, then dropped a little and still the one that came in low made good money off you.
Harley Davidson motorcycles are the most sought out motorcycle in the universe. No matter what the supply is, the demand is very high. So guess what, you will pay accordingly.
To me a good deal would be to pay below MSRP. And that would include tax and any other fee's, plus a t-shirt.
Or if they threw in a girl from motor clothes!
