Default diamondback clutch cable adjustment

Can someone give me the low down on how to adjust this thing trying to put levers on and does not seem like the usual lock nut ordeal thanks.

If you follow the clutch cable from the lever towards the tranny, you will find a chrome portion of the cable. In the picture above, it is in front of my horn trumpets. That chrome portion is the cable adjuster. The actual adjuster has a smooth chrome sleeve covering it. Slide the smooth sleeve up to expose the hexagonal adjuster. Using an open end wrench, turn the adjuster one way to put slack in the cable and the other way to tighten it. When done, slide the cover back over the adjuster.

Careful with that chrome sleeve when you slide it. if the cable is not straight when you slide it, the edge of the sleeve will cut into the coating on the cable as it try's to slide on the bend in the cable.

Yep, what BoneDoc said. It doesn't have that lock nut on the cable just the adjuster nut. The first time I adjusted mine I wasn't sure how to do it since there isn't a jam nut which locks the adjuster nut in place. The chrome sleeve covering the adjuster nut has the same function as the rubber boot on the stock clutch cable, just slide it out of the way (carefully).
