Default Whats your favorite riding glove??

I just cant seem to find a warmer glove I am happy with. They are either so big and bulky I have no "feel" for the controls. Or they are too lite weight and my hands freeze. I am looking for that perfect glove that is super light weight that I have I can feel the control and still keeps the hands warm in say the 40-50 deg range.

I have a pair of Harley Gortex lined gloves that I bought years ago. They are warm and not too bulky. I also have heated grips. They work well for me. The grips take the chill out of my hands on early morning rides.

I have a pair of Rev It Kelvin H2O gloves that are perfect for that temperature range, though once it gets into the 40s I generally use my heated gloves.

My wife found some on Amazon that are long, gauntlet type that are good for 50-55° and up. I think they were under $50 but I've had them for two winters.

I wear these gloves, which I got at a local shop. https://glove.securesites.net/produc...Product_ID=132

When it is really cold, I have a thin liner I wear inside them that I got from Academy.

This might not help much but I use a pair of old German military surplus gloves, old well broke in leather softer than peach fuzz. They have a thin insulated lining of some sort that works veryvery well, and when it warms up during the day they are not to warm. I went to a local surplus store that sells a lot of biker gear also, tried on about 20 pairs of gloves from 20.00 to 80.00 and all felt like crap,to stiff I could not move fingers,to thin like not wearing anything. I turned around an on the floor was an old box of these surplus gloves. First pair I put on oh ya baby this is it.. $9.00. Best riding gloves I have EVER used.If I ever lose one I will travel anywhere to find another pair.

My favorite gloves are deerskin, but my personal belief is that there is no glove thick enough to keep your hands warm in freezing temps by themselves, without heated grips or heated liners...
You basically have 3 options:
1. Good thickly lined leather mittens
2. Heaters (liners or grips)
3. Freezing hands
Pick one.

For warmer weather I have mechanix wear m-pact gloves. Really like them. Liked them so well I purchased a pair of mechanix wear winter armor gloves. Have not been able to use them yet but they seem to be warm, wind resistant, and not very bulky. If I like them half as much as I like my regular weather gloves they'll be great.

I own several pairs, but not for riding. However, I'm starting to see them show up in biker magazine rider pics. Apparently, it's a new fad.
