HARDLY DANGEROUS Hitting the Links in a Harley-Davidson Golf Cart
If you watch a TV show or a movie, groups of motorcycle riders are typically shown to be gruff, crude, and ready to commit violence. However, in real life, most motorcycle riders are law-abiding citizens who pay their taxes. Some of them may even enjoy an occasional round of golf. If you happen to be that type of biker, a cart like the one you see here should be right up your alley.

In what seems another life time ago when I was a golf pro in the 70's I had a fleet of Harley rental golf carts. The club I worked at had a course lay out that wasn't good for electric carts so we had gas Harley's. If my memory is right I would adjust the govenor and they would really fly. I actually only did it to my personal cart because I didn't want the members getting hurt.

a guy i work with has 3 of them. two 3 wheelers and 1 four wheeler. he finds them, pays $100 for them then fixes them up. it usually doesn't take much to get them running but they all need lots of cosmetic work. his son is a body shop guy so that helps. parts are readily available and easy to get.

AMF.
I had a '79 AMF Harley Davidson golf cart up until last year. It had "little moons" chrome wheels and a laid-back type design of golf bag holders - which is surprising that modern golf carts don't have, since they are really convenient and you don't need to strap 'em in to keep bags in place.
It was a great conversation piece of a golf cart - nobody around us had seen one in years. It wasn't much good on hills - up or down. Archaic brakes and not enough umph for going up hills around our place. Decided to sell it vs. spending a bunch of $$ on new batteries when the old ones stopped holding a charge.
