Default Financing a Harley- best rates/experiences

Just wondering if anyone has had any good experices financing a used bike at a lower rate, and who they went with.
What rate should I be looking at.
Have what would be considered excellent credit score.
Thanks for any help/input

Credit union, credit union, credit union. Got one? Use it. Don't belong to one? Join one. Will always be a better APR than a dealer can offer so long as your credit is up to par. A solid credit score is any where nowadays from 730+

Yes definitely go with a credit union. Financed my 2010 SG last October and got 2.44% from a credit union.

Compare rates between lenders. Even give the dealer a shot at financing, they get a discount from the primary lender and can often offer rates as good as or better than dealing directly with the bank, Credit Union, etc...... In my case HD was as good as any other source I checked so I went with them. Each lender has different standards, but if your FICO is in the solid 7XX's you'll get better rates.

I got in the 1's from Harley back in 12. Had to do a little finagling and threatening to come back with a better rate from credit union.

If your credit is excellent you shouldn't need to ask. Go to your bank or CU and ask. My CU will match or beat any valid rate. 1.8% - 2.0% is what I would expect for anything from new to 4 years old.

I shop around and always end up at my credit union. Just refinanced my house there and they got me below 3% on a 15 year note.
