Default Which states require a motorcycle title and which don't?

I would like to ask this question cause I know some states don't require a title to register. I know for sure that Missouri requires a title to register any bike. However if I have to travel out of state to scope out bikes,it would be helpful to keep in mind which state does or don't require a title. Yes I would always ask but I want to use this info as a heads up.

I think hes trying to avoid being stuck with a bike with no title, that is a PITA to register here in Missouri.

Na just want to be extra cautious in states that don't require titles.

Regardless of registration rules, if the seller can't provide you with a CLEAR TITLE and sales affidavit - then it should be NO DEAL. TX requires TITLE, INSPECTION, and proof of INSURANCE. How many follow this - not so much - I see lots of expired plates on those older than 5 years.

A LOT of states do not issue a title if the motorcycle is over certain number of years old...go figure. If you are looking for a rare bike, and find one in that state you may have to deal with it.

That what I thought it was for off road cause I looked at it before. May not be helpful for street bikes.
