Default Reputable mechanics in Minnesota?

Hey there, I've had my bike for almost a year, and so far all maintenance/repairs have been done either by myself, or with the help of a friend. But I'm looking for a good mechanic in Minnesota (preferably north of the Twin Cities) for stuff I'm unable to do myself. First thing is just a simple tire mount/balance, but I don't want to just go anywhere, even for that. Preferably someone who knows old Harleys (mine is a '72 FLH). Thank you, -Danny

Hey JohnMn, who do you use in St Cloud? I am looking for a good mechanic that can sort out some shifting issues. Vikingland hasn't been able to sort through it.

Lance over at Grouchy's, he has decades of experience with HD's.

Any of the metric shops will service HD for the light stuff, but if you wanna get inside the gear box or do cams or such Lance is the man.

You could also check out Josh Miller HD repair in Nowthen if that's a reasonable distance for you. A buddy of mine has had good success with him for a few of those "hard to diagnose" intermittent problems his '99 evo. Very reasonable hourly rates too, $50/hr.

I appreciate everybody that's tossed out some names.
