Default Little help please

Riding in this morning I noticed something odd with my bike. 2012 street glide with abs. Every time I started from a stop, as soon as I got to 10 mph, the light on my speedometer would cut out. As soon as I got to 3000 rpm's, the light on the tach would cut out. Both gauges would continue working but with out the light. When I would come to a stop, both lights would come back on and the check engine light would illuminate for about 5 seconds and shut off. Happened this exact sequence time and time again. I think I know what I am doing this week end. Any ideas where to start?

I know how to pull codes, but I am at work right now. Was just wondering if anyone might have an idea or had this issue them selves.
The Gremlin bell is brand new given to me last winter from a patient of mine.

Wish I could be more help, I'm a transmission guy that rides an Evo, codes and lights on the dash are foreign to me. Try posting in the tech forums maybe you'll get a better result.

Okay, I noticed that when the rpms are brought up, the voltage gauge spikes. Does that mean that the voltage regulator is not working properly. There are several codes but I have not written them down yet.

You know I was just messing with you right? But thanks for the laugh. I actually worked NYC about 30 years ago for a year and couldn't wait to leave!!! I am just not a big city guy.
