Default Maybe there is hope for him yet

Got a call from my Grandson Saturday, he was at the local Harley dealer and he wanted me to take a look at an '07 Heritage for him. It was an ok bike, nothing special about it, 31k on the clock, they were in the $10k ballpark. Talked to the sales guy and got him to agree that they'd at least warranty the compensator for 500 miles. That was my only real concern. During one of the "side bar discussions" with my Grandson he let it slip that he'd be looking at 19% interest. Now I'd known that he'd had some problems in the past, didn't come to me soon enough before he got in trouble, but I didn't know how bad. I told him there isn't a toy on earth that I'd pay 19% interest to own, but he's 23 and it's time to make his own decisions. I left him there to finish negotiations and make his own decisions. He text me about 3 hours later........"your right Grandpa, I ain't paying no G** D*** 19% interest..."

Sometimes they take a lil while to wake up. Seems he's beginning to understand when he said no to the 19%.
My boys went through the same thing, late bloomers.
