Default Harley Davidson Jet 2 Helmet

I noticed there was a button I can press in the middle of where the logo is on the front of it. What does it supposed to do exactly? It's like an on/off switch to something?? Thank you.

Yes, it's the moco brainwashing switch. Once you press it, you become powerless to resist the urge to buy only HD branded merchandise.....powerless I say!

Kidding. maybe for venting the helmet? It appears that the top & bottom of the bar & shield are also raised, which may be vent inlets....hard to say though.

It's for air flow. When it's pushed in, it allows air into the helmet to cool your head. It's not incredibly effective though, IMO.

It's a laser to clear the traffic in front of you. Seriously it's got to be a vent of some sort.

Yes, it's for venting. Let's you get some air to your head when it's hot. Works as well as most helmets with venting holes. Just don't expect a big rush of cool air or anything

When you take your bike in for warranty service, the service manager pushes that button, tells you "they all do that", and you go away happy.

From what I see on the forums here it works quite well.
