Default looking for old us bikes.

Anybody know of a good auction site or retail sales joint that specializes in old american bikes. I might be in the market for an Indian or a 1927 or so harley.

Old scoots are difficult to come by, big money if you know anything about them.

Check out www.caimag.com. Goto the forum introduce yourself and put the question there.

Do believe though that you will be paying a lot more for a pre-30 bike than the 20K you have set aside

I love the 47 indians. I've seen 1928 aND 1927 harleys in ebay for 10 to 16k. Figured if I spent 20 I might get a little better bike. Maybe have to find some more cash. The big thing is, in this economy, prices can come down on collectable sometimes.

Mecum has a couple mc auctions each year. There's a running 32 on Ebay with no bids and no reserve. Be interested to see what it sells for.
