"available on a country by country basis" and from the language I'd say this primarily relates to the European Market.

You say goodbye to them. If they're made in India, it will probably be from whatever they scoop out of the Ganges River. Should be sticky.
I'll keep getting mine from Dunlop.

Michelin is a much better tire in my opinion. Their Pilot Power line is hands down the best sport bike tire. If the Harley tires carry the same compound as that tire then that will be a good thing. I think all of Michelin's line-up are dual compound, too.

if you read the article it states
Michelin Scorcher tyres, which are fitted as original equipment on Harley-Davidson Sportster, Dyna, V-Rod and Street motorcycles, will be available more widely on the replacement market. These tyre ranges are currently sold only via the network of Harley-Davidson dealerships.
so I read this as simply the tires will be available through other sources other than only hd dealers. I didn't see any mention of any other tires/sizes being made available so i'm still gonna be stuck with the dunlops for my cvo.

I'm going Michelin on the next Street Glide tire change. I've had great wear on my Michelin truck tires so why not try the two wheel version. Think I'll stick with Avon on the Softail for now.
