The novelty helmets helped but switching up to a leather helmet!
Well I'm gonna call it that if I get pulled over. I (REALLY) don't care!
Leather bomber caps on E-Bay and Amazon for 40 to like 130 bucks!
Only finding them overseas and still looking before I make the move.

I have a friend I sometimes ride with and that is all he wears. Lives in Va and claims the helmet laws are so vague he can get away with it.

I've got an original WWII leather bomber hat, but I don't think that I would wear it.

Oh,you'll start to care when you're hit with a $25-100 citation every time you get pulled over and the ticketing officer won't let you continue on your way on the bike! They can do that if they feel it's warranted for your safety.
