Default My First Ride on a Harley - 2016 Dyna Street Bob

I rode a Harley for the first time and fell in love with the motorcycle. I rode the Street Bob and will be saving up my money to get a Harley

Get a touring bike.
You will eventually anyway.
The majority do.

Wait until the wind changes and the trend moves on to something else.

99% of the guys I know and ride with don't ow a touring bike and just want to do shore runs or maybe an overnighter... Not everyone wants a one... The OPs bike he's looking at is a terrific 1st bike... I think its a great way to go..

The Street Bob and Dynas in general are great bikes.

OP be sure and check out Softails too. For me it came down to Softails and Dynas and I ultimately went with the Fatboy (Softail).

I agree with the OP that the Street Bob is a great cycle.

You couldn't give me a touring bike. 95% of the guys who own a touring bike don't even tour. Touring is not going to the bar with all of your other buddies with touring bikes that don't tour other than a Sunday ride that consists of 100 miles to a bar and back.

IMO a touring bike is a total poser bike. As far as all of them in my area anyway.
