Default LED Headlight bulb - impressed!

I am truly impressed with the difference the LED headlight bulb makes over the standard halogen bulb. After reading all the positive input on this forum I finally bought one. I did my morning commute out of Union Bridge to Rockville. I stay on the back roads mostly. What a difference. I have read on this forum where Harley's Daymaker headlights are even better?

Any pics? What kind? How much?

Yes LED is a vast improvement over stock, but I went with HID...brighter & cheaper (IMO).

In my opinion Daymakers may be brighter than stock -- but Truck lites win hands down -- I have not tried the bulb you speak of. But I do have a Truck lite on one bike and a Daymaker (came in the 14) on the other -- the TL is a pleasure to ride with -- the Daymaker does not lighting up the road and is dark through the corners.

Not knocking either but a buddy who just bought a 2015 SG went with me for the day on a run. I could not see this mans headlight 100 feet behind me. Whatever comes stock on the 2015 SG was very directional. Occasionally I could catch a glimpse of light but man I was shocked. That bike was not lit up at all. Maybe at night it's a different story.

Yep, the TL doesn't show up in the daylight very well but at night you'd be amazed. I like mine but durin the day I run my passing lights and at night do not need the passing lights.

I got a LED bulb (replacement style) and my wife complained about the same thing. During the day the color is too warm (white) so it doesn't really show. Love it at night though.

My only complaint on LED lights is the 2 that I've had, I've needed to readjust my headlight. They never seem to be pointing in the right direction.

Bought the Fuel Moto LED headlight bulb along with spots and they arrived yesterday. I haven't had a chance to install em yet, but it looks simple. Seems folks are generally pleased with LED.

Here's a pic of the bulb box. Picked it up from my local Harley dealer for $65
