Question starting a club...not easy...but why?

Hello.
my bro a few years ago wanted to start a small club based of the name of a elemtary school we all went to.
Gonna get jackets with the logo and patches and just ride together for fun.
Few cluns were ok but one said if he tried theyd shut him down and not pleasant like.
is this normal? Were talking a for fun group og 8-10ish guys. Just curious if this is the norm.
dont wanna deck me out a jacket and get killed by another club...tnx MV

Try checking this out: http://www.rcvsmc.net/index.html

You may not agree with it, but for the most part, it is the way things are.

Good bit of info in here. You don't have to like the rules, but you do have to live with the rules.

Since it was a few years ago, did he start the club? Did you and your friends ever start riding for fun, without starting a club?

You know that a group of friends are allowed to ride around together without matching clothing

In my experience, true friendship (i.e. brotherhood) doesn't require a patch to prove it.

Good grief. Are you a free American? If so, ride what you want, with whomever you want, wearing whatever you want.

While that is a great concept, it is also one that can get you hurt or worse....
There are certain things you just do not do....
