In no way do I feel this is a bad thing, just a little odd. I'm 29 years old and most of my co-workers grab their phones to check Facebook or play games. Meanwhile, I grab my phone to surf hdforums to read about bikes...i cant stop. New bike tech, powder coating, maintenance, road stories...its all good!

I was on a deployment 150 miles above the Arctic Circle in Norway back in the winter of 1993 (Op Battle Griffin). We were living in GP tents just below the treeline on a wind swept mountain overlooking the Norwegian Sea. I was pissed because I was missing Daytona Bike Week so my 1stSgt made me sit in a chair like I was riding my Softail and they positioned a fan in front of me set on high speed while they poured a beer into the spinning blades. Yup, I've been addicted for a long time as well.

I am closing in on 40K miles for this years riding of the 18 bikes in my garage.

So like the OP am I addicted? I did take three weeks off to take my wife on some trips and one week to work on her honey do list.

 

I was at a HDA meeting (Harley Davidson Addiction) & I stated that 'I quit my addiction & it was the scariest 5 minutes of my life'. LOL
