Harley Batteries no longer made in the USA
Everyone thinks HD batteries are made by Decca / East Pen but I am not so sure.
I just had a Harley battery replaced under warranty (purchased in June). I paid a premium for a Harley battery mostly based on the good reviews here.
I did happen to keep the original and when I looked, the original says “Made in the USA” while the replacement does not. I am very disappointed.

I'm thinking our environmental laws and regulations have put domestic battery makers out of business. Can't have any of that hazmat stuff in this country.
I think there are some WWII battery dumps in the US that are EPA Superfund sites.
The Chinese don't mind frogs with 3 eyes.

the only thing that we manufacture here, is debt. We are one of the best at it,and we have been excelling at it for a number of years now. Anything else made here forget it! I can get paid for doing nothing, why should I go to a stinky factory, do a boring job, and get only a few dollars more that what my wonderful country will just give me. And you wonder why nothing has made in America on it?
