Default I just started working for Harley Davidson

I just became a salesman for Harley Davidson of Washington, DC.

Anyone in the area or already a customer of the shop? I am just on here to reach out and see if I can meet some local faces.

Also, If anyone is a salesman and wants to share some tricks on how to do the job more efficiently I am all ears!

Just try not to rip people off,,
Don't try to "hook" the customer for as much as possible.
Be a decent man, offer new sales at a standard rate,,

Repeat customers and word of mouth referrals outweigh a few big commissions. Settle in for the long haul by establishing your customer base and be the go-to guy in the area because you're known to be a stand-up guy.

Ride/Own a harley. nothing worse than some dude not knowing a damn thing about bikes. It is uncomfortable for the customer and makes the salesperson look like an idiot.

Yup. I hear it' a tough gig. Around my parts if you make $50k seeing Harley's, you're considered exceptional. Very few obtain that status.

Welcome. Before we go any further, I think you need to review our rules. You were asked to read them when you joined, but you may have missed the part about advertising. You are not allowed to sell anything here from your business unless you are a paid sponsor. I have removed that part from your first post. Please take some time to read the rules posted as a stickie thread in the New Member forum.
