Yup, I was out this afternoon. Saw a few others too. I try to find at least one or two days each month to break the bike out through the winter. Sometimes it is a challenge to find a day where it is both warm enough (upper 30s is about my bottom limit even in Dec-Jan-Feb) and when there isn't too much salt or moisture on the road.
Milwaukee here. I got out for about 50 miles. Nothing big, but it was nice to ride. The roads were pretty beat up. Had to stand on the boards for some nasty sections.
Nice ride today in the Starved Rock area Ottawa Illinois. Great day to get out and put about 100 miles on. Washed the salt dust off, up and back on the lift waiting for another opportunity to get out. As already mentioned. Any clear day that the roads are ice free is a good day to ride.
Got out for a couple of rides this weekend. Cruised about 120 miles Saturday, mostly around the Fox river, and then my short bop through the woods around Archer, 83, and US45 on Sunday.
