I set off several car alarms at this new place I live. The street I live on is wall to wall apartment buildings. I hope that whoevers cars these are get their aolarms adjusted although I have to admit I get a kick out of it. My bike is loud, but not that LOUD. I was talking to one of my new nieghbors as I was washing the bike yesterday and she asked her husband if he had seen me set off all the car alarms. Made me chuckle...

RE: Evertime I leave...
Guess I'm kind of the opposite.....
When riding around populated areas (or in city environments), I like to ride in 'stealth mode' or whatever it takes to draw as little attention as possible.
The less attention the general population (or authorities)gives you,the better off you are.

I doubt you will be chuckling about it when your boss starts getting complainants from the tenants. I predict a postfrom you in a week or so telling us how bad your newboss is because he now wants you to get rid of your bike because it is disturbing the people you are supposed to be serving. I just don't get the attitude here by some people who think it is alright to impose on others with their loud pipes and riding habits.
Go ahead and flame. I get it every time this comes up.

you could always put the stock pipes back on.Better yet push it down the block then fire it up.I assume your stealth mode is the same 3000 rpm's as mine.

Why would you purposely go out of the way, to pi$$ off a bunch of your neighbors, when you have to leave your bike parked outside at night.
