I see FCL "Grayson"... I like most of it... Idk why it needs side snaps really.. Made in USA..
I'm looking for that style from other companies...
No snaps, buckles, logos, durable, light as practical, zipper cuffs etc
Any Suggs to compare?

I run only Vanson's. God forbid you ever go down at least in a Vanson you know it won't shred off of you like some of the garbage that's out there.

 

Hillside USA. Great prices for horse hide and bison hide jackets. Don't know if they have the exact style you're looking for, but they also do custom work.

 

Vanson hardcore highwayman, 10 years and still rocking. Fits like a second skin. Couldn't ask for a nicer piece of gear.

NOT lightweight leather, sucker is a heavyweight and took over a year to break it in. Just like a pair of Whites...

 

Fox River will build your jacket as you want, What you see on the website is there in stock jackets but they will build one to your specks.

 

Reviews about fit are mixed.. I'm spooked by that.. Plus total weight is important to me... I hate returning stuff... Specially to a hard working American company... Maybe I'll go to local shops again for more information

 

They will also send you a test jacket to test sizing before building it.

 

Vanson requires that you be fit my a dealer; 31 or 33 different measurements IIRC.

They make lighter weight jackets than the one I chose. I wanted a heavyweight leather that would last 2 lifetimes, so I went with their heaviest leather. You might look into their midweight if the total weight is a concern.
