Default Cam install question

We're installing new chain cams on my brothers 05 Softail and noticed the rear cam has some slop in and out. We had to get different spacers to get the offset correct because the Andrews gear was too far out with the stock spacer. Should there be slight slop there?

Andrews tech support can help you. They answered some questions for me before I did my 95" build. I remember changing spacers but I don't remember the "end play" spec.

Tech guy was off when we called. I think we have it spot on since we got the correct gear alignment.
