Cam timing question
I'm buildign up the top end on my 95" build and I'm up to the rocker boxes. My question is, when both dots on the cams are facing each other, and the dots on the primary and secondary cam sprockets are facing each other ( yes chain cams) the rear cylinder is at TDC on compression stroke. The cams used are Andrews TW21's, and I'm using stock Harley outer cam sprockets, splined secondary (rear) sprocket. The motor is an 01. The sprockets are shimmed properly. By not using an Andrews outer cam sprocket, I just wanted to be sure this sounds like proper cam timing. Thamks, Jay
