Default Girl Bike

So, the 883 used to know as the girl bike, but now HD has the 500 and 750. Where does that leave the 883, is it still a girl bike or has it moved up in the ranks?

I think it's a 'girls bike' if, you know, there's an actual girl riding it. Otherwise, it's just a bike...

It's ok, some call the Deluxe a girls bike too. I'm with the, it's a girls bike if someone of the female persuasion is riding it, crowd. Far be it for me to even have the notion that a woman couldn't/shouldn't ride any bike she chooses to ride. Same for any guy, for that matter.

Peace

I have friends that have downsized from their touring bikes to 48's and other sportys. One of them (a former 1%) says "it's nice to be the gazelle again after being an elephant during my club days". Lighter, faster, more manoeuvrable and still gives you that wind in the face thrill. I think eventually I will end up on one or a 500/750. Given a choice between a sporty and riding a trike (when I can no longer hold up a tour model), I think I would enjoy bombing around on a 48 or superlow! JMHO!
