Default New horse in the stable, brought home a '97 Springer last night

Been craving a Softail for a while now.....started narrowing to a Springer just cuz I like older style. Brought this home from New Hampshire last night.

So far all I've done is swap the passenger pegs for the paddles...give the wife something more to rest her paws on.

She's got a Mikuni 42 side draft carb, nice sounding gooseneck turnout pipes, extended forwards. Saw progressive shocks underneath.

Cold out lately...about 33* but I just gave her a quick wash and went for a spin. Those springer front ends are dreamy...nice 'n cushy. Love how she handles.

So I'm on the hunt for a tall sissy bar, Mustang Regal Duke seat, and floppy leather saddlebags.
Will probably repaint her...dunno how long I can stand black.
Gotta lower those front turn signals to the trees, and get a larger teardrop headlight.

Yup! Twas 6999
I chewed them down a little.

Great...great people there...I can't stand dealerships but I asked about this place a few months ago on the boards here, and nothing but good replies from those who bought from there. I agree, after buying from them. What a huge place...so many bikes.
