This is best so far.

1/4" thick, inconspicuous.
Light is white but other colors available.
First pic is lite alone.
Second pic is over view with added Flashlight for reference.

Can you give some details on it? Light for the insides correct? If so that's pretty cool.

 

Police style bags have an empty recess that the latch fills on a non police bag.
I want a non reflective solution for side light.
This goes into that void

I added one light.. One pic is with lights off. One is lights on. Pics look like bulbs
Are visible, they are not. Lights are much more diffused than pics show, too.

 

Put one inside.. Pics don't show how well it lights up compartment
