Stayed at Days Inn on Blair's Ferry Road once. It was nice.
If you're trying to get closer to Anamosa (J&P Cycles), there's a Super 8 and Shaw's house right across from them.

Google motorcycle friendly hotels or motorcycle friendly restaurants and if you want more specific results follow the search with the name of the city

Bike friendly how? Personal storage to put the bike in? Just pull up to one, pay for a room, go to sleep etc. Nobody is going to care whether you're on a bike or not. I'd look up JP website for info.

Funny, I have a question on Mom & Pop motels over on road trips right now. No answers yet for low cost recommendations. But there is a web site link.

I live close to and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway all the time. I've found that if a motel says it's "Biker Friendly" it's a $30. room for $50 bucks or more.

If you're the type who has to wash your bike everyday lot's of best westerns have a bike wash area. Haven't had a bad stay in a Best Western yet, YMMV.

The Mountain Home Arkansas Days Inn has a stack of "biker" towels at the front desk for you to use to clean your bike up. I've heard others say Days Inn's a pretty accommodation.

Phillips motel in Robinsville NC was pretty darn inexpensive when I stayed there 2 years ago and they are biker friendly.
