Default Factory Harley Blacked out vs Chrome?

Just curious what most people these days prefer a Blacked out bike or Chrome? I actually like both for different reasons. Lately ive been really liking Chrome. Seems like Harley is coming out with a lot of blacked out bikes. Just wondering if thats because the market is demanding it or not? Whats more in demand?

I prefer blacked out. I don't like to spend more time cleaning a bike than riding it.

Each has its place on my bike. I think chrome and black compliment each other so I'd never go too far with one or the other.

Chrome. I can have my bike detailed after a ride in 20 minutes tops. Usually less. And nothing screams like chrome.

50/50 to 60/40 ratio one way or the other. Too much black or too much chrome looks odd...for lack of a better word.

I prefer chrome. As another poster said it takes me very little time after a ride to detail it, most times that amounts to getting a few bugs off.

Thats how i feel as well. When i was shopping for a new Fatboy i looked at another Lo, a Fatboy S or a Regular Chrome Fatboy. Too me the Chrome Fatboy looks the best. But then for the Breakout i love the new CVO prostreet blacked out with the gloss black. Thought i liked the Lowrider S until i saw it in person out in the sunlight. It had too much wrinkle black and the wheels look almost brown. Some bikes look best with a mix of both too make them pop. Im pretty much just wondering what the majority of people prefer in the buyers market being that Harley seems too be coming out with more and more blacked out bikes?

I've tried to do a 50/50 split on both of mine. With black tins, gloss black powder coated parts and chrome really pop nice.

Black is cheaper than chrome to produce. It helps them lower pricing.
