Default Reflectors on or off

I've never kept mine on any bike. just figured at 60 mph if cager isn't going to see me any other time, he's not going to say, well if it wasn't for those reflectors i would of never seen you, thanks...lol what's your opinion?

Just say no to reflectors. Gave up on them when I left my tricycle.

They don't see 4,000 lumen LED lights so I doubt a .05 cent reflector is of much use.

If the bike has them, I leave them on. I figure every little thing helps.

I like to keep them on. But I do a lot of night riding. When I've had a bike that had them already took off which they almost all do. Its not like I add them. I suppose I just figured with a dark-colored bike that a little bit of reflection could help. And it sure beats wearing a high viz!

The ones I notice are the broken shards still laying on the pavement from the last accident that occurred there. What does that tell you?

I'm in the "if they're there, I leave 'em" group. I figure every little bit helps.

Thanks for the reminder OP, I bought my current bike last year and forgot to remove all the cheesy looking reflectors!

Here's an experiment for you - Take a photo of the side of the bike with a flash. Pay attention to the reflectors when you look at the photo. I don't want to go down the road looking like a Christmas tree, but I'm not going to intentionally do something that reduces my visibility at night.

Ehhh, I'm torn...but I did remove the one from the rear on my SGS. I like the cleaned up look on the backside. If they can't see the CD LED tail lights a reflector back there isn't going to help. As for the forks and bag latches...the jury is still out but they may have to go.
