Have to agree, that article is mostly BS. The guy who wrote it has an axe to grind for what ever the reason. I ride a modified 1250 Sportster and wouldn't ride anything else, it just fits me, and I'm 6'2" 230lb. Many will say you'll want to "move up" to a real bike when you get tired of the Sportster. Not me, I don't like riding a land yacht, too big and bulky. But then I like something a little more nimble and quick. But that's me, you buy what works for you.
