Thanks for posting this. So too often we read about shifty dealers and the nonsense of their crooked behavior. Good to hear a positive for a change!

That's all you can ask from ANY dealer.

Glad to hear they are going the distance to make it right for you but I'll forewarn you after getting comfortable on that RK you may find the Low lacking when you get it back.

Good that they are taking care of you. My dealer gouged the inner fairing on my CVO when it was brand new. They replaced it no questions asked. Not all dealers are good about stuff like this though.

I would be very interested in how they are going to "repair" it. A new tank is the minimum I would accept. Totally sucks and the main reason I don't use anybody but me to work on my bike is crap like this. HTF could someone drop your bike?? Just ridiculous IMO.

It was an accident. People do make mistakes...the point here is the dealer is making it right.

I would expect they will either do the tank expansion method or some sort of paintless dent removal. Both methods I have seen be used to successfully repair motorcycle tanks.

They offered a brand new tank as well, but with the repair I also get the airbrushing. Seeing as I know 100% that repairing such a small dent in the tank will be fine and you won't even be able to tell (I did some body stuff when I was in high school) I am ok with that.

They weren't exactly sure how it happened but they think when the tech lifted the front it wasn't securely on. They couldn't apologize enough.

While I did all my own work on my Suzuki, I didn't have a warranty on that bike. This one does, I'm going to use it while I have it.

Exactly, don't care how careful one is sometimes **** just happens and anyone who says it hasn't is either lying through their teeth or have never done a thing in their lives.
