Going fenderless is okay, until you get caught out in the rain, then all of the water that was deflected by the fender is now in your face, so go for it if you aint going to ride in wet weather, or don't mind the extra water in your face.

I try not to ride in the rain much, it just means more polishing, I sometimes get caught in it when I'm out riding though

Even a little bitty fender will stop most of the rain from being thrown in your face.

I have one, Sloptail, w/o fender, and one, Nightster, with fender. Nightster will soon go w/o fender. Don't care what someone else thinks; it ain't their bike.

If you're out and get caught in the rain, take a bungee cord and wrap it around the forks across tire. It'll break up some of the spray heading back at you. If you want something permanent, look into a fork brace. Either way, you'll still get wet, but it won't be as bad trying to see where you're heading!

What the hell, yaa got to wash your face once in awhile anyways. If you like it off, leave it. (Ole sporty rider) You can always put it back on.
