Default Indian unveiled their 2009 Chief in SoCal yesterday

I went to Cook's Corner in SoCal to see the unveiling of the new Indian Chief. I really like the way they look, but They are way over priced for the average person. I also have a hard time trusting them to be around for a long time. They don't have a very good track record so far. I think it would be a good bike for someone like Jay Leno. If I had deep pockets and could afford anything I wanted I would definitely buy one as an addition to my collection, but not as my only bike. They do look really cool!

I think they start at around 35,000 and go up from there.

Those look sweet. I would get one without hesitation if I could afford the price.

Of course being an Indian event everyone who lives around here with an Indian showed up. Here's a few pics. The first one is a really cool 1947 (the real Indian).

Me too! It's too bad the original Indian didn't survive. Harley Davidson should have some competition. We would have some great bikes to choose from at competitive prices.

That's just nuts. Are they making the Scout anymore?
