Are HD brake banjo fittings 10mm or 12mm?

I think I remember having to use one of each size on my Sporty when I replaced the brake line - the brake fluid reserve side was a different size than the brake side. Call J&P Cycles tech line as they can tell you exactly what you need to order. Could also be old age setting in that is making me think this.

Thanks... took your advice and just called J&P... 12mm at the master cylinder and 10mm down at the caliper... now just gotta figure out how many inches I need between those 2...

I might have just strolled out to the garage, grabbed a 10MM & 12 MM socket, and see which fit where.

I could be wrong, but I was thinking the sizes referred to the thread sizes not the head sizes, so I could not tell without cracking open the banjo bolts, which I didn't want to do till I was ready to switch the lines.

I don't recall ever seeing something like a 10mm bolt with a 12mm head. A 10mm bolt is a 10mm bolt and you use a 10mm socket or wrench to tighten or loosen it.
