Who has the lowest EFI idle???

Lowest possible efi idle
I am running a T-Max and am around 840 RPM. would like to go lower but it just don't wanna go. The IAC keeps kicking in. Anyway, WHO HAS THE LOWEST EFI IDLE??? AND HOW DID YA GET THERE. EVEN IF YOU DON'T ADJUST YOUR OWN BIKE I'D STILL LIKE TO KNOW YOUR IDLE SPEED/CONFIG.....

Your probably as low as your gonna get as the EFI bikes need a certain speed at idle to keep the battery from discharging.

You may wanna rethink that low idle. If I recall, I read somewhere that you need enough RPM to keep the oil pump a pumpin. Thats why the newer engines idle higher. I dont remember the specific number but I think you are too low. You may be in for a surprise.
Just a thought.

the lite ain't on. but i hear you. you need oil flow to dissapate heat and i don't have a OP gauge on there.

I have heard several people say the reason EFI Harley's idle higher is because of charging issues, but I really don't believe that is the issue. Having tuned EFI cars over the years, in most stock configurations, most of the "learning" done by the computer is at idle and just above. Since Harley's EFI is a Speed density system, meaning it uses vacuum reading to determine air flow, my guess is that as the idle goes lower vacuum readings become erratic. This would make it difficult for the computers adaptive learning to keep things in check. In my supercharged mustang, I have changed the adaptive learning to read thoughout the entire rpm range. I don't know if that is possible with Harley's system.
