$28000 OBO. Original factory "Lightning Motor", rebuilt with 3500 miles on it, easy starter, runs very smooth, rev's high, has lots of power, 100 mph. top speed. This bike is OEM correct with a few repop parts such as both fenders, speedo, handlebars(grips are NOS),seat, belt primary, etc. The # matching motor, 4 spd. tranny, frame(has all correct mounting tabs),springer frt.end, gas tanks, oil tank, wheels, headlite, are OEM and have been restored to new specs. Very cool. I'd love to have that pig in my garage. But $28,000? That puts a 2010 Ultra in the garage. Hmmmm, let me think, which one should I get? Yea, me too!

I'm not completely sure, but I think it references to the increase in displacement in '47 from 68 ci to 74 ci. Then in '48, they introduced the panhead...
