Question 1955 flh ??

1955 FLH, Pea Green, Hard Bags, Fogs, Full W/S - Any of these still around? Serviceable?

Hmm, I know it was the first year for the FLH. Also was the first year for Timken main bearings.

Something unique? Hmmmm.

Well, it WAS my first REAL ride; you know, the one that didn't smoke, burn oil, cause the gremlins to constantly stir. But "UNIQUE"? Maybe the price? Like my junker and a $1500 bank loan ($50/mo) out the door?

They're out there, and they're coming outta the woodwork, with this chitty economy. And the prices are DOWN for the vintage.

TMK, the only one, but, '55 had the year stamped into the "V" fender tip. Is this the 'uniqueness'??? Jus' my guess.

Also the first year for the 'new' style taillight vs the 'tombstone'.
